This session will provide insight into how you can strategically plan your career in order to attain funding for the research you want to pursue. Designed for early- or mid-career faculty, this session may also be relevant for postdoctoral researchers and graduate students.

Led by the Office of Research Advancement and Partnerships, this presentation will include an introduction to branding and marketing your research, plus a discussion of funding mechanisms specifically designed to enhance your career. We are also pleased to have Dr. Anjan Bose provide insight into how to become a highly sought after expert in your field. Additionally, three successful young faculty will provide insight into the steps they took to obtain initial external funding for their research. Our goal is to provide you with actionable methods for planning your career, enhancing your value to the research community, and alleviating much of the anxiety associated with attaining funding for your research activities.
